Die Unterwasserfotografie ist ein sehr spannendes Thema – egal, ob zum Ablichten von Flora und Fauna, für experimentelle Shootings oder zum Festhalten von Erlebnissen beim Tauchen und Schnorcheln. Digitale Spiegelreflexkameras, Digitalkameras sowie deren Objektive können mithilfe von professionellen Unterwassergehäusen von namhaften Herstellern, wie etwa Canon, Olympus und Nikon, wasserdicht ausgestattet werden.
Während Regenschutzhüllen vor Spritzwasser, Staub und anderen Umwelteinflüssen schützen, garantieren stabile UW-Gehäuse sowie besondere Unterwassertaschen bis zu einer gewissen Tauchtiefe den kompletten Schutz vor dem Eindringen von Wasser. Voraussetzung dafür ist, dass das jeweilige Produkt zum Kameramodell passt. Dank der speziellen Bauweise hat der Fotograf Zugriff auf die wichtigsten Kamerafunktionen, sodass hochwertigen Unterwasserfotos und -videos nichts mehr im Weg steht.
